Can we go paragliding together?
Group paragliding in Interlaken easily arranged and organized daily. Even though each flight is a tandem flight with your own pilot, you can share the experience together.
Depending on the size of your group, you’ll take off one after another to keep wait times as short as possible. If conditions are right, you might even be able to be in the air at the same time and see each other during the flight.
This creates a shared experience—even if you don't all start at exactly the same time.
Here's how paragliding works in a group
Paragliding groups in Interlaken organized in a structured and efficient manner, so you can enjoy the experience together without long wait times. After meeting at the designated spot, you’ll be transported to the launch site as a group.
Depending on the size of the group, flights are staggered. This means that one part of the group takes off while the next group is already getting ready. This ensures a smooth flow, and the entire group is in the air or back in the valley in no time.
When the workload is high or groups overlap, it’s possible that part of one group will have already landed back in the valley before the next group of guests is transported to the flying area. This ensures that operations run efficiently and that all guests receive the best possible service.
At the end, the group meets up again in the valley at the landing site and can wrap up the experience together.
Can we be in the air at the same time?
Yes—under the right conditions, it’s possible for several people in your group to be in the air at the same time and see each other during the flight. That’s exactly what makes group paragliding so impressive.
However, since each flight is controlled individually and safety is always our top priority, we cannot guarantee that all flights will take off at the same time or fly directly next to one another. Our pilots coordinate takeoffs so that as many guests as possible are in the air at the same time.
Even if the takeoffs are slightly staggered, it still creates a shared experience. You’ll see each other in the air or meet up again right after landing in the center of Interlaken.
How large can a paragliding group be?
Paragliding groups in Interlaken be organized flexibly—from small groups to larger events. Good planning is essential to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Per flight, we can typically transport up to about 7 guests to the flying area at a time—depending on the availability of our pilots. A flight lasts about an hour on average, so the schedule is easy to plan.
For larger groups, the event will be divided into several sessions. In this case, we recommend checking the booking calendar to see if there are enough spots available in consecutive time slots.
This way, we ensure that all guests can fly as close together as possible and that wait times remain short.
Which paragliding flight is best for groups?
In general, all of our paragliding flights in Interlaken are suitable Interlaken groups. The choice depends mainly on how closely you want to share the experience together.
Most groups opt for the Top Flight or the High Flight, as these offer more time in the air and make the experience even more memorable for everyone. Especially for groups, this creates a shared highlight that people will talk about for a long time to come.
The Easy Flight is a shorter, more budget-friendly option—perfect if you want to keep the experience more compact or if there are different preferences within the group.
